Every book has a story, and we tell the story of how books are made and why they’re important to all of us today. Help us keep the story alive by donating.
The American Bookbinders Museum is grateful for the patrons whose support and generosity allow us to share bookbinding and its history with visitors from the Bay Area and around the world. Donations in cash and in-kind permit ABM to expand its exhibits and programs to reach a community of book lovers, students, and book artists.
Donate bookbinding equipment, ephemera, or books to our permanent collection. Our collection grows thanks to the generous gifts from the binding and book community all over the United States and the World. In accepting any donation our staff considers how it fits ABM’s collection plan, and whether the museum has the resources to care for an item or collection. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at (415) 824-9754 to discuss a potential donation. Note: ABM cannot accept delivery of unsolicited donations.
Make a financial donation. Your gift is fully tax-deductible, and helps ABM continue and expand its offerings and its community.
