The story of the book spans almost two thousand years of human history; we tell the unique story of book production and its impact. The American Bookbinders Museum’s permanent collection includes historic machines, tools and books. We have grown our collection more than 250% in the past 10 years. Our environmentally controlled special collection room contains books, periodicals, fine bindings and ephemera.
