The Tin Drum by Günter Grass. Technique: bound in “shagreen” goatskin. Edges painted with acrylic. Two stainless steel plates have been embedded in the cover flaps and the cover of the original edition has been used on the front cover. The design as a whole is the metaphor of Oskar Matzerath’s tin drum. The guards, in turn, allude to his vitricidal voice. As a complement to the work, the drumsticks were made by hand in leather and wood. 15 x 24 cm 2015
