Open Tues-Sat 10am-4pm: Museum Closed December 24th and 25th

The American Bookbinders Museum is excited to welcome Poetic Journey/Travesía Poética.

A retrospective of bindings by Mexican bookbinder Dulce Maria Luna.

Trained in her father’s bindery, she founded La Antigua Bookbindery in 1990. Her prize-winning bindings have been exhibited internationally in France, Spain, Colombia and now the United States. Access to this exhibit is free of charge.

This exhibit features more than 40 of her original hand bindings, drawing on Mexican culture and art as the source and inspiration of her masterworks.

Poetic Journey is bi-lingual, in English and Spanish. Presented with the assistance of the Mexican Consulate in San Francisco, the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ars Optika Editores and La Antigua bindery. We thank them for their support of this exhibition.
