Bookbinding is full of small details that make a big difference. Join the American Bookbinders Museum and Lucias Farias in a webinar discussing one of the smallest—headbands. Learn about the historical application of headbands and how they are modified to suit a book’s needs. Lucia will share her recommended process for creating headbands and the challenges in their creation, especially when working in miniature! Every detail is a necessary element for the binding’s structure and aesthetic, down to the type and color of thread.
