Join us on Saturday, January 28 from 4:30 – 6:30  for an in-person reception celebrating the opening of ABM’s latest exhibition: The Many Lives of Books: Exploring the Work of Book Conservators. Meet curators Kimberly Kwan, Elizabeth Ryan, and Michelle C. Smith, and take a dive into the decisions, tactics, and techniques that book conservators employ in service of a book’s physical and historical integrity.

At 5:30 curator Kimberly Kwan will give a short talk on conservation decisions and how they affect the stories that books can tell: Every Book Tells a Story: Conservators’ Decisions,

Light snacks and beverages will be served.
