Workshop: Hardcover Coptic Journal

A quintessential binding, the Coptic stitch gets its name from the Copts and was created in North Africa. This binding was originally sewn through slats of wood attaching a hardcover. Today many use this stitch as a base for unique designs along the spine or inside covered spine bindings.

Join instructor Alexandra Sarette in creating your own beautiful hardcover Coptic journal. The Coptic stitch is a great jumping-off point for beginner and intermediate binders.
