Monthly Bookbinding Workshop: Case Bindings

One of the most common forms of hardcover books and have been around since the 1450s. Their popularity is due in large part to the rise of printing presses and a demand for cheaper books.

Case bindings are sturdy and long-lasting. They can be highly decorative using a multitude of coverings, headbands, endpapers, and finishing. Create your own case binding with the American Bookbinders Museum on Saturday, December 14th, at 1pm.

Cost: $30 per person, includes hands-on workshop and materials
