Family Party for Of Wonders Wild and New

Help us celebrate the opening day of Of Wonders Wild and New, a new exhibit that explores the imaginative worlds of children’s books over three centuries. From the advent of children’s books in the early 19th century to today, picture books reflect our changing attitudes toward childhood, diversity, and inclusion.

There will be stories, treats, and activities for all. Elisa Kleven, author of The Horribly Hungry Gingerbread Boy, will be on hand to meet kids and read from her work.

American Bookbinders Museum

The American Bookbinders Museum is the only museum of its kind in North America, celebrating and exploring the history, tools and stories of bookbinders and bookbinding, from its earliest forms through the changes and innovations of the industrial revolution.

In addition to the craft and artistry of binding, we focus on the stories of the men, women, and children who worked in binderies.
