Don’t miss a panel discussion on the current state of book bans
Joining the discussion are:
- Becka Robbins of Fabulosa Books and founder of Books not Bans
- David Gales from the Prisoners Literature Project and librarian
- Dorsey Nunn, a champion for Criminal Justice for 40+ years, author of a banned book and a Formerly Incarcerated Person
- Keenan Norris, professor of American literature and creative writing at San Jose State, and a novelist, essayist and scholar
- Sarah Stone, a collection development librarian at San Francisco Public Library
Moderated by the American Bookbinders Museum, we’ll dive into what’s being banned, why they are being banned, and what we can do to counteract book bans.
