Event: Reception, Open House and Panel Discussion

Calling all Readers! You’re invited to a special reception and panel discussion to celebrate Banned Books 250.

  • See our special exhibit highlighting books banned in America’s 250+ year history

  • Don’t miss a panel discussion on the current state of book bans

Joining the discussion are a San Francisco Public library representative, a local book store owner, a banned author, and a spokesperson for the Prison Literacy Project. Moderated by the American Bookbinders Museum, we’ll dive into what’s being banned, why they are being banned, and what we can do to counteract book bans.

We hope you will join us for an evening of lively and stimulating conversation.

When: Saturday July 18, 5:00pm

Admission: Free

Light refreshments will be served
