1942 TW & CB Sheridan Brochure 24 inch Shaper Machine Tool
Publication
This is the Sheridan Shaper machine tool. This was a War effot Product and was sold to the Navy for Maintenance and Repairs aboard ship. I suspect the expertise for these came from the Easton, PA facility. The Champlain, NY plant had the foundry to pour the castings but Easton had the ex employees of the George Juengst and Sons Company, who Sheridan Purchased in 1933. Sheridan chief engineer Paul Kleineberg worked for Higley Machine Tool, who had their machine tools built at the Juengst factory in Croton Falls, NY and where Kelineberg was assigned as the engineer on site starting in 1900. This all relocated to the new Facility in Easton, PA which was built by American Assembling who purchased the Juengst Company in 1916 and who Sheridan acquired before the War in 1933.
