Bound in brown beveled cloth with black stamping over entire cover and spine in a classical decoration of urn and floral design to cover and spine, but encompassing elements of both Eastlake design and asymmetry. Urn on spine is gilt stamped, as is title and decoration to cover and wide title band to spine. Red bordered text. Dark grey stone endpapers. All edges gilt.
