Publisher's Binding- Poster Style

Binding circa 1900. Green cloth binding with red, black, green and gilt decoration and lettering to front cover and spine. Cover depicts Lincoln as young boy holding riding crop, wearing riding boots, within a rectangle of gilt tree and river scene. Motif repeated on spine.

Later reprint edition, no addition printings noted. Originally published in 1883 under title: Abraham Lincoln, the backwoods boy.
