The Gane Brothers had their own line of Printing supplies but were also selling agents for WO Hickok and TW & CB Sheridan out of their Chicago office. This provides insight into the breath of the product line of these 3 companies at this point in time. Soon therafter Sheridan developed their own agency in Chicago and Gane Brothers no longer were selling Sheridan products, Sheridan was selling direct and appointed a relative to run the agency called Allen Dean Sheridan, son of Edwin R Sheridan in 1890.
