Publisher's Binding- Eastlake Design

Bound in green cloth with decidedly Asian influence to the black stamped design, featuring a diagonal stamping of climbing vine and flowers, a fan shaped design to bottom left cover, asymmetrical design, green endpapers printed in a small fan pattern. Eastlake elements to title typeface and exaggerated lettering. Blindstamping to rear. Notable for how the Asian influenced design of book covers increasingly had little or nothing to do with the book's subject.
