1910 TW & CB Sheridan Book Trimmer
Publication
Single knife Trimmer advertisement. This should have been for trimming piles of magazines, or book blocks. Since it is a single knife that would imply that the pile had to be reoriented between side and face cuts. I believe during this time frame all cutters and trimmers were manufactured in New York (Manhattan) and not Champlain facility. I am sure Champlain poured the castings but no assembly photos from Champlain of cutters or trimmers were see in the archives. This machine is quite an improvement over the one depected in the 1895 catalog 2025.4.1
