Workshop: Romanesque Stitch Binding

The Romanesque binding is characterized by beautiful criss-crossed stitching on the spine. Its component parts are practical and functional: the boards protect the text, and the spine’s decorative stitching is self-reinforcing. The binding is sewn through a spine board allowing for extra space between the covers. It’s a wonderful book for adding photos or sentimental ephemera. Join us for a creative afternoon to craft this enchanting book.
