Stamped Art Nouveau gilt and pink floral design by Margaret Armstrong signed with the initials "MA" at bottom of the flower's stem. A memorial edition of Reed's short stories and writing commentary. Bound in lavender cloth with elaborate gilt spine decoration and titling. Top edge gilt. Deckled page edges.

First edition, first printing. Endpaper inscription: 2444 Reed Threads of Grey & Gold. Presented to Hartford Library by Mr. G. S. Harrison Apr. 4, 1928., Library stamp on flyleaf and title page: West Hartford Library, West Hartford, Vermont. Signs of removed library checkout label.
