Dark green cloth titled in gilt on the spine above a stunning gilt and green rose. Titles in gilt to the front board within a ruled box to the top of the cover. Right side of box has with vignette depicting a pale pink castle with background of gilt, and foreground of dark green. Top edge is gilt. The monogram of the designer is located on the lower right side of the pictorial panel, and appears to be a large F (the surname?) followed by C over H." Frank C. Hale (Minsky).
