DescriptionCentral motif of band is a wreath of alternating leaves and lines with terminal dots, bordered on both sides by dents facing away from the central band. Used on "Mortara" by Helen Aldrich De Kroyft (1892)--design was updated for a later printing, using a meander in place of this pattern.
