Art nouveau binding in bright green fine ribbed cloth with a black lined vertical panel to the left half of the front board depicting a sunrise with sun and rays in bright gilt spreading through the stylized leaves of two elongated nouveau trees outlined in black. This sunrise/tree motif in gilt and black is replicated on the top of the spine. Title to spine and front board is gilt.
