Bound in mint green linen weave cloth in a poster style three-panel decortive cover. Panels are triple-ruled in black and darker green. Top panel stamped with title in gilt, bottom left panel depicts a garden and insects stamped in lavender, black, green, and dark green (note negative stamping to create sky and stream), bottom right panel stamped with "Illustrated Edition". Spine with two-panels, stamped in black, dark green, and lavender, depicting an elongated art-nouveau flower, watering pail, and sickle. Titles in gilt. Top edge gilt, deckled edges. Binding signed with "S" in stamped black square in the lower left of the bottom left panel. Possibly by Frank Berkeley Smith. Companion volume in uniform binding to "The Solitary Summer"
