Bound in light brown beveled cloth with black and gilt stamping of intricate borders of flowers, leaves, repeat patterns, and classical urn. Eastlake elements. Spine features a classical urn and a three leaf clover. Publisher's name in gilt to the bottom of spine reads "Belford, Clarke and Co. All edges gilt. Tan floral endpapers.
