In case you hadn’t already heard, the American Bookbinders Museum is excited to announce that we will be attending the California International Antiquarian Book Fair in Oakland February 6-8! We will have a selection of early bookbinding manuals on display as well as bookbinding tools and equipment.

To get you excited about what we’ll be showing at the fair, we’ve devised a little bookbinding tools trivia contest. Below you’ll find ten images of bookbinding tools; be the first to correctly identify all ten tools using this form and win a free tour of the museum for you and ten of your friends!

The contest closes on February 9, and we’ll be posting the answers to this quiz, and announcing the winner of the contest, here on the blog– can’t wait? Visit us at the Fair! We’ll have these tools and others on display for consideration and discussion with museum staff and volunteers. Our tool selection too obscure? The person with the most correct answers wins!
